What is the Garrett ACE Apex Metal Detector?
The Garrett ACE Apex is the newest metal detector from the Garrett ACE metal detector line.
Weighing in at a light 2.5 pounds (13.5 ounces), the Garrett Apex detector comes with multifrequency Multi-Flex technology, hybrid audio system and high-resolution ground balance which makes identifying valuable targets a snap. It also sports a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
MultiFrequency Technology
The detector features four single frequencies (5, 10, 15 and 20khz) and two multi-frequency options: one standard and one specifically for saltwater beaches. And with international and United States coin modes, you can take your detector anywhere in the globe to find treasure.
Garrett’s new technology will give users the flexibility to switch between single and multifrequency within the same machine. With the addition of high-resolution ground balance, the ACE Apex can be used in various mineralization conditions, enabling detectorists to find nearly every target on their list.
The Garrett ACE Apex Metal Detector has adjustable:

Viper Search Coil
The Apex metal detector comes with a waterproof Viper 6" x 11" Double-D coil. This new search coil is completely waterproof!
Existing ACE coils are not compatible with the Apex metal detector, due to the multi-frequency technology. And the new Viper coil cannot be used with existing ACE machines.
Z-Lynk Wireless Headphone Technology
The Apex features wireless Z-Lynk technology and will be available both with and without MS-3 wireless headphones. The detector also has a 1/8" headphone jack for connecting your favorite wired headphones. Z-Lynk technology is up to 6 times faster than Bluetooth, which means you will hear your target the moment you swing over it.
New Design for ACE Apex
The Garrett ACE Apex was specifically designed to create zero rotational torque at the ends of your swings. The machine was designed to be well balanced from search coil to arm rest.
The detector is rain-proof and features a large, nearly edge-to-edge LCD display on its sleek control box. Apex’s intuitive design and simple-to-use tactile buttons make it easy for you to adjust settings no matter the conditions.

Garrett Garrett Electronics, Inc. warrants that each piece of detection equipment manufactured by Garrett is protected by the following limited parts and labor warranty for a period of 24 (twenty-four) months from the date of purchase, with the following exception: the Sea Hunter Mk II, which is covered for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase. During this 24-month period Garrett will inspect and evaluate all equipment returned to its authorized repair station or factory to determine if the equipment meets Garrett’s performance specifications. Garrett will repair or replace at no charge to the owner all parts determined faulty. This Warranty does not cover batteries nor any and all failures caused by abuse, tampering, theft, failure due to the weather, battery acid or other contaminants and equipment repairs made by an unauthorized party. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE BUYER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT ANY ORAL STATEMENTS ABOUT THE MERCHANDISE DESCRIBED IN THIS CONTRACT MADE BY SELLERS’ REPRESENTATIVES, IF ANY SUCH STATEMENTS THEYRE MADE, DO NOT CONSTITUTE WARRANTIES, SHALL NOT BE RELIED UPON BY THE BUYER, AND ARE NOT A PART OF THIS CONTRACT FOR SALE. THE ENTIRE CONTRACT IS EMBODIED IN THIS WRITING. THIS WRITING CONSTITUTES THE FINAL EXPRESSION OF THE PARTIES’ AGREEMENT AND IS A COMPLETE AND EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. The parties agree that the Buyers’ sole and exclusive remedy against Seller shall be for the repair and replacement of defective parts. The Buyer agrees that no other remedy (including, but not limited to, incidental or consequential damages for lost sales, lost profits, injury to person or property) shall be available to him. Special Notice to Foreign Customers: Terms of this Warranty may vary depending on the country in which this equipment was purchased and delivered. Any claims based on this Warranty must be made to Garrett’s local representative or agent. Do not attempt to return any Garrett products to the factory in the United States without written authorization from Garrett’s local agent or representative.
