We are a family-owned and operated business. We have been serving Chicago and surrounding areas since 1985 with quality metal detectors and accessories. Our talented team is passionate about this industry and dedicated to keeping you on the cutting edge of technology. Windy City not only sells and rents metal detectors, but we have also been using them for over 40 years. Therefore, in addition to providing top-quality equipment, we can provide you with tips and hands-on instructions to make your metal detecting experience more successful. In 1985 due to a lack of local dealers and lack of information on the hobby Windy City detectors was formed and has developed into a multi-line metal detecting dealership that has been servicing customers in the Chicago area and elsewhere with metal detectors for security, industry, and hobby as well as specialty equipment for serious treasure hunters.
